Still absorbing one step at a time into my new hobby, it was only good that I took it to experiment with JitChak when I had the opportunity late last year. The subsequent 2 pictures were taken with large aperture. The natural lighting was good enough that I need not fiddle much with other settings.
The below is my favourite. I would like to name it “Jackie’s kuku plant” homage to the generous Jackie and his parents for their hospitality while I was in KL.

Sometimes negative setting could produce unique pictures. These two pictures below were taken on bright late evening though they appear to be taken at night.
This is a plant not a flock of tiny birds.
Sepia mode for a little “old school” aka nostalgic feel
Name it as “concrete jungle” to justify the title of this post
So much for experimenting for now. Looking forward to taking more beatiful pictures (I hope).

Beautiful UTP lake! Evening is the time to come out and play
Once in a long while we would play volleyball

having casual fun
Most of the time, we play badminton
But once in a lifetime, we would all come out and take pictures in the outdoor for memory.

J04Unity: UTP Tour I

The time have since warped 4 years ahead of 2004
Through it, we have endured thick and thin. This 2008, we are that much closer to graduation
A sense melancholy mix with an ounce of relief, a handful of joy, a bundle of sad and happy moment made an enriching experience for all of us
There were times when everyone wants to be boss
Sometimes we got loss too
But no matter what, we stick as one
Have a cuppa while pondering the next move
We always triumph over apprehension, moving together in the same direction
Marching down the road
or down the hall of knowledge
or through the jungle (that’s what Tronoh is)
where it flourishes with our fertilizers au naturel
So that our life can be a little more balance with us playing in the lush playground amidst the cold steel of the surrounding campus
We wear smiles on our faces most of the time, but you’ll never know
there are always something to shoot us down
But there are also always superhero buddies who would get our feet back on the ground
Save us from despondency
Reassuring us that everything is okay
No matter how gay we may appear to be
or for real (once upon a time)
or when things turn physical in every sense of the word
disagreements bound to arise
But hey, there’s nothing we couldn’t overcome
Like Kevin have said, nobody told us guys there are girls in UTP. This is not a gay school afterall
Not just one or two but more
and some more. Them all, lovely lasses from J04 batch
Some of us are happy with one
Some think sharing is caring
with a couple more
or double couple more
No matter how we tried to pose
like robots
we are one happy robot family
We have all originated from different places, possessing multitude of antics, sizes and shapes
But that’s what makes us all so special, isn’t?
and we’ve gotta learn to love them all no matter who we are
and forgive each other for every wrong things that we’ve done or have said
and discover that behind of everyone, there’s goodness in it
We know that hard work shall be intertwine with some relaxing activities
Some of us have the natural coolness without trying
Sometimes a mixture of everything
Some may pass as a James Bond look-alike
though some may try very hard
Some poses just came out bizarre
In this place books are aplenty
But we love nothing more than to play
Library is a place to play hide and seek
and to sleep
and to read
newspapers
While growing up, we’ve learnt 1+1 = 2
so we’ve got to put two pictures together
to get the whole idea
Otherwise you may see others appear like retarded
but who are we to judge. Sometimes we do things others don’t understand, but really, is an internal thing
The J04 thing that is
One thing we know is that we have one common goal
We can’t wait to graduate
Yet we know the journey together will end come 2009
We will fly our own way then
but we will always remember in everyone of us, we have bits of others
and we are never ever going to forget that
the J04 batch is the best
